SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA might be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access here SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area each day. The support level developed for intervention experiences a read more high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it complicated with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to help the servicing of all shoppers and boost access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
